Covered by the Japan Rail Pass, which keeps it consistent with the rest of a JR itinerary. The Kintetsu alternative, a private line the pass does not cover, is often more direct: a regular express at about $5 (¥760) in 45 minutes, or a limited express at about $8 (¥1,280), that is about $5 (¥760) plus a reservation supplement of about $3 (¥520), in 35 minutes.
