A combined price on two tickets from two different private operators: ¥790 (about $5) to ¥1,080 (about $7) to Gotemba depending on where you start in the Hakone area, Sengoku or Togendai, taken here at the higher figure of ¥1,080 (about $7) from Togendai, plus ¥1,750 (about $11) from Gotemba to Kawaguchiko. The Hakone Freepass covers the Odakyu leg to Gotemba but not the Fujikyu one; the Japan Rail Pass covers neither, they are private buses. Fare source
